Who you are working with
My name is Stefan Nester. I am an engineer in printing and media technology with a master's degree in Management of Product Development, and I have spent more than ten years working where printed electronics, sensor technology and product development meet.
I started out in applied research, including coordinating an international research project worth nine million euros with partners in South Korea and the USA. After that came product development and technical project management for series products in healthcare, automotive and security.
Most recently I led an interdisciplinary team spanning sensor development, software, hardware, industrial design and production, taking a sensor platform from first concept through to market launch, followed by full operational responsibility as COO of a technology company.
I know both ends: the lab where a layer works for the first time, and the line where it has to work every single day.
